McRail RMC Constructions was established in 2012 by Ian Reid, Patrick McNally & Damien McLoughlin. Since then we has grown steadily, building up a substantial client base through both repeat and new business. Damien McLoughlin
Contracts Director
Damien oversees both existing and new business for the company, consistently bringing innovative ideas and a fresh perspective to every project and development. He plays a proactive role in identifying opportunities for growth and improvement, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. Damien maintains strong, collaborative relationships with clients, working closely to understand their vision and objectives, and ensuring these are successfully realised through practical, tailored solutions.
Patrick McNally
HSQE Director
Patrick brings over 25 years of rail construction expertise and plays a crucial role in driving the company’s financial and commercial strategy. With a deep understanding of complex rail projects, he ensures schemes are delivered efficiently and successfully while shaping and guiding the growth of this critical area of the business. Patrick’s combination of industry knowledge, financial oversight, and strategic leadership makes him a key driver of both client satisfaction and long-term business success.
Declan Carroll
Projects Director
Declan has a strong background in Civil Engineering and brings over 25 years of experience across a wide range of sectors. His expertise provides valuable insight and a strategic approach to project delivery. He is highly programme-driven, ensuring projects meet strict timelines while maintaining focus on health and safety, quality, and commercial awareness. With close attention to client requirements, Declan consistently meets and exceed expectations. He is involved in all projects from pre-construction through to handover, providing oversight and ensuring successful outcomes at every stage.
Supporting the Community
We are proud to support local community projects such as Orpington FC Football Club, located in South East London. They have over 20 Youth teams aged from U7’s all the way up to U21’s playing in the SELKENT leagues alongside 4 Adult teams, including Women’s, a SEN team and Saturday morning Soccer Schools for all ages.
It’s important to help build a sense of achievement and accomplishment through sporting events. These foundations will hopefully help in personal development.
Health, Safety & Quality commitment
McRail RMC Constructions operates an Integrated Management System with a strong focus on Health & Safety, prioritising the well-being and welfare of all individuals involved in or affected by our projects.
We are ISO 45001 accredited, ensuring that all employees and operatives are fully qualified for the tasks they undertake. At McRail RMC Constructions, it is standard practice to conduct Method Statements and Risk Assessments prior to the commencement of any work. Toolbox talks are held regularly, alongside staff briefings, to foster open communication. This allows employees to provide valuable feedback and collaborate with us in maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety across all projects.
The Health & Safety Policy is reviewed annually, and updated as and when necessary as legislation dictates.
