McRail RMC Constructions was appointed by Byrne Bros to deliver the groundworks and selected reinforced concrete elements for the AstraZeneca Project. The works formed part of a larger development spanning both the North and South Plots, accommodating the new R&D Building and Energy Centre.

McRail’s scope included bulk earthworks, formation preparation, piling mat and temporary works installation, services infrastructure, and the construction of reinforced concrete foundations, including capping beams, pile caps, lift shafts, and other structures essential for the building platform and associated facilities.
