Bedlington Station has been fully constructed as part of the Northumberland Line project, reopening passenger services between Newcastle and Ashington after decades of closure.

Morgan Sindall appointed McRail RMC Constructions to carry out the groundworks, reinforced concrete works, and selected external works associated with the station development. The station now features two fully operational platforms, modern passenger facilities, car parking, lighting, signage, and safe pedestrian access. Surrounding roadworks, drainage, and utility installations have been completed, ensuring smooth connectivity and improved local infrastructure.
