Guildford Borough Council delivered a new depot as part of the Weyside Urban Village regeneration, centralising services such as waste collection, fleet maintenance, MOT testing, parks, housing repairs, and museum archive storage. The development included three purpose-built buildings with offices, workshops, and vehicle bays, supported by car parking and sustainable infrastructure including solar PV and heat pumps.

McRail RMC Constructions was appointed by McLaren Construction to deliver groundworks, reinforced concrete, and selected internal and external elements, ensuring a high-quality. Structural works were completed, internal fit-out was carried out, and external landscaping progressed. The facility will become fully operational by summer 2026, supporting modernised council operations and wider estate regeneration.
