McRail RMC Constructions carried out the groundworks and external works for the Hilton Garden Inn Silverstone car park delivered on behalf of Aztec Construction. The scope included construction of a 274-bay external car park with 36 dedicated electric vehicle charging bays, designed to support the hotel’s guests and visitors to Silverstone Circuit and enhance sustainable transport infrastructure. The development incorporates a Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) to attenuate and manage surface water runoff, utilising a below-ground attenuation tank for controlled discharge. Works also comprised civils earthworks, services infrastructure, and associated hard and soft landscaping to deliver a fully operational, environmentally compliant external parking facility.
